The assumption of this article is that with the title of CEO, somehow one becomes entitled to give out Gyan. That there is a lot people can learn from you. I'm not so sure about that. I'm not that delusional about myself. So what I am sharing below may or may not be thoughts that resonate with all. Prison Diaries - Interview in 'The Hindu'

On December 22, 2012, Chetan Mahajan reached Bokaro to reason with angry parents of students enrolled in Everonn, the Chennai-based IIT coaching chain. Mahajan had been with the company for just three months. The Bokaro branch of Everonn had begun losing teachers to other institutes that paid a higher salary. Increasingly uneasy, the parents of enrolled students demanded are fund; rumors that the company was shutting down only served to compound the problem.

When Chetan Mahajan reached Bokaro on 22 December 2012, he anticipated a short two-day visit. Not a particularly pleasant one—the reason he was visiting, after all, was to convince anxious parents that contrary to rumors, the coaching institute run by Everonn India they had enrolled their children in wouldn't close—but a brief business trip, like so many others he had made in his life. His mind was on the Christmas party he would host when he returned to Gurgaon, on finishing his training for the Mumbai marathon next month. As it turned out, he missed both the party and the marathon. He was too busy trying to get himself out of jail.
